Steven Haynes E.A., President
Steven Haynes is a graduate of Colby College with a Masters in Business Administration from Boston College and is an enrolled agent. He has been preparing taxes since 1992 as the founder and president of EBPI. Even though he has grown the firm from a one person, single location operation to its present three locations and staff of nine, he still prepares over 500 tax returns each tax season.
Mary Anne Paradise E.A., Wellesley Manager
Mary Anne is an enrolled agent and has been in the tax business for over 25 years. She has been with EBPI almost from its inception. She handles a majority of the tax returns prepared in the Wellesley office and is our QuickBooks advisor. Having become an enrolled agent with the IRS Mary Anne is a highly qualified tax preparer with a loyal following.
Cheryl Morse E.A., Easton Manager
Cheryl Morse joined EBPI in late 1999 having worked 17 years for H&R Block. As an enrolled agent she was one of the expert preparers and instructors for Block's Eastern Massachusetts offices. Managing the North Easton office she prepares over 700 returns each year. Cheryl is a national instructor for the NATP (national Association of Tax Professionals) and the director of The University of Massachusetts tax school and was member of the IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel.
Heather Kelly, Weymouth Manager
We are excited to welcome Heather Kelly to the team. She has been preparing taxes since 2013 for a small CPA firm in Plymouth. She is very familiar with mid to high end tax returns involving everything from basic 1040's, rental properties and small businesses. Heather is not what we call a "software preparer". She understands the code and what the return is supposed to look like. We have been looking for someone to add to our team for a long time. If we were to hire and train someone Heather would be the result. We are extremely fortunate to hire her and expect she will build a loyal following in Weymouth.
Patricia Falanga, Client Manager
Patricia Falanga joined EBPI in June of 2012 having worked as an accountant, in various industries, for more than 20 years. Patricia is responsible for customer coordination and satisfaction making sure every client gets what they need from the various sources at EBPI.
Irene Cheng, Bookkeeper
Irene joined EBPI in the Fall of 2015. She has an accounting degree from Suffolk University and a background that includes State Street Bank and the TSA. She is proficient with QuickBooks and is most comfortable with numbers.
Louise Ciatto, Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer, Wellesley Office
Louise began working in our Easton office in 2018.She now works full time in our Wellesley office.Louise has extensive bookkeeping, and payroll experience, and has worked in the accounting field since 1994.She also has experience as a legal assistant; in that role, she was responsible for confidential case review and management.She is highly organized and detail focused, and prides herself on providing a high level of customer service.
Michele Lewry, Easton Staff
Michele joined EBPI’s Raynham office in 2010 as a part-time receptionist. She is a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School as well as being a valuable part of the EBPI team, Michele works as a secretary in the Taunton High School Guidance Department.
In addition to greeting clients and scheduling appointments, she quickly increased her responsibilities. She is responsible for the daily electronic filing of all tax returns. As part of those duties she tracks all government responses to those filings, follows up with clients as necessary, mails required paperwork to the IRS, and knowledgeably answers client inquiries regarding the filing of their returns.
Michele Ferrreira, Easton Staff
Michele became our full-time administrative assistant in 2015.She holds a Graphic Arts Certificate from Bristol Plymouth Technical High School. Michele puts her graphic art talent to work for another seasonal business, and then is available to help us out during tax season.
Michele efficiently answers calls and schedules appointments for the Easton and Weymouth offices. She also greats clients, handles customer service, while providing limitless support in all administrative areas for EBPI.
Marlo Colson, Easton/Weymouth Staff
Marlo Colson joins the EBPI support staff in Easton and Weymouth. She is a graduate of the business program at Quincy College.She has many years of customer service experience and will be a great addition to our team. She will be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, and assisting clients who are picking up tax returns.
